

Sadie Virginia Betts, 80, passed away on January 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy, warmth, and unforgettable humor that touched everyone who knew her. Virginia was a woman who lived life out loud - with energy, positivity, and a laughter that could fill any room. Known for her quick wit and infectious laugh, Virginia had a rare gift: she could make people feel lighter simply by being herself. She found joy in everyday moments and shared it freely, often turning even the simplest situations into reasons to smile. Her humor and laughter were not just entertaining - they were comforting, uplifting, and deeply contagious.
Virginia embraced life with enthusiasm and optimism. She faced challenges with grace, strength, and a positive spirit that inspired those around her. Virginia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Betts Jr, and her cherished son, Robert Romine Jr.
She is survived by her loving partner, Larry Robbins; her sisters, Helen Carol Lopez and Opal Buoy; and many nieces and nephews who adored her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, January 30 at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119.
