Servando Armendariz Urueta

Servando is survived by his wife Mayela and two children, Gerardine and Sebastian, son-in-law, Steven, and grandson Mateo. In addition, Servando is survived by his mother, Martha Urueta as well as his brothers Armando and Saul, and sister, Maria Eugenia Armendariz. Servando was predeceased by his father, Armando Armendariz.

Servando was a hardworking man who loved his family dearly. Servando was brought up raising cattle at his family cattle ranch business in Camargo, Chih. Servando’s priority when he arrived in the USA was to ensure his children had a better life and were successful adults, and he knew he had achieved his ultimate goal. Servando loved hosting ‘carne asada’ with his family and friends as well as watching the Kansas City Chiefs win on Sunday’s. He took pride in maintaining the best looking lawn in the neighborhood and made sure it was cared for every day. Servando and Mayela loved nothing more than spending time with their adult children, Gerardine, Sebastian and Steven. His newest title that he was so proud of, was Abuelo to Mateo, who he loved to take out to swing and swim.

A visitation for Servando will be held Friday, August 11, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Newcomer's White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd, Gladstone, MO, 64119. A funeral service will occur Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St. Therese Parish, 7207 NW Highway 9, Kansas City, MO 64152.
