She was born September 26, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Walter Wayne and Flora Mae Abernathy.
She was married to husband Donald Edmond Raney in August of 1977 and they raised two children together.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband who passed in 1998.
Sharon is survived by her daughter, Dawn Raney and son, David Raney and his wife Megan and their children Emma and Dexter of Kansas City, Missouri.
A visitation w will be held in the White Chapel Cemetery, 6600 N.E. Antioch Rd., Gladstone, Missouri, 64119 at 2:45 on Wednesday, November 1st, 2023. A small dinner will be held afterwards at Strouds, one of Sharon's favorite restaurants.
