Shirley E. Moser

Shirley was born in Baltimore, MD October 4, 1929 to Harry and Esther Nickles. After graduation from Catonsville High School she worked for the Social Security Administration where she met her husband Nelson E. Moser of Reading PA. Shirley and Nelson were married for 53 years.

After her marriage, Shirley became a dedicated Mom and homemaker, moving to Kansas City in 1970.

Shirley was a member of Glenwood Baptist Church (now LifeBridge Baptist Church) where she was active in many groups and activities. She became a Christian as a young girl dedicating her life to Christ.

Shirley is survived by son Mark and wife Gail of Mt. Airy, MD with granddaughters Jessica McCoy and Rebecca Moser, daughter Cheryl Mohler of Overland Park with granddaughter Stacey Moore and grandson Brandon, son Daniel and wife Marilyn of Lee’s Summit with grandsons Brett and Scott; and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Sister Barbara Dickey of Baltimore, MD.

In addition to her husband Nelson, she is predeceased by son Matthew and granddaughter Shannon Zerbe Peterson and son-in-law Johnny Mohler.
