

Stanley was born on September 14, 1943 in Lowry City, Missouri to Ora and Clarabell King. Stanley attended Northeast High School then left to join the United States Navy on August 8, 1961 and was stationed at Treasure Island San Francisco, California and served his country as an Aviation Mech Jet 3 on the USS Bon Homme Richard until June 29, 1967. On September 28, 1961 Stanley married the love of his life Jacklin Gibson and had Five children Steven, Pamela (Pammy), Jessie, Tammy and Candy. After Serving his time in the Navy Stanley took a job in 1967 at the Ford Motor Assembly Plant in Claycomo, Missouri and retired in 2008 (41 years). Stanley’s was a loving and care husband and father always doing everything he could to give his family a better life. Stanley taught his children to be respectful of others and Independently Strong. Stanley loved his family unconditionally and would always help out anyone that was in need and put others before himself. He was a true hero to so many and will be forever loved and missed.
Stanley is preceded in death by his son Steven King, son Jessie King, daughter Tammy King, daughter Candy King, father Ora King, mother Clarabell King, mother in-law Blanch Brady, brother Calvin King, brother Eddy Rose, brother John King, brother Lonnie King and sister Frances Carl
Stanley is survived by is wife Jacklin King, daughter Pamela (Pammy) King-Steele, grandson Kelsey Jacobs, granddaughter Natasha Nordblad, grandson Michael Jacobs Jr., grandson Steven King Jr., grandson Jeremy King, sister Thelma Morris, sister Kathryn Wymer, brother Larry King, brother Robert Dale King and seven great grandchildren Devon, Brianna, Aerianna, Oliva, Gemma, Rowan and Rhett (to arrive April 2021).
Stanley will be honored with a United States Navy Military Funeral Service on March 20, 2021 at 1:00pm at White Chapel Cemetery in the Mausoleum. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Stanley’s life.
In Honor of Stanley the family is asking in lieu of flowers that a charitable donation be made to the American Cancer Society.
