Virginia Rose Sprague

Ginny married Charlie Sprague in 1965 and had the joy of becoming a mother to Rich and Michelle.

Ginny worked many clerical jobs, but her impact was most felt at NKC Health (formerly NKC Hospital), where she worked as a Unit Secretary from 1989 until her retirement in2011. She earned Employee of the Month Honors during her tenure.

Ginny became a proud grandmother to Sean, Ryan, and Cicely, and became an even more proud great grandmother to Morgan. Motherhood and being a grandparent was the highlight of her life.

Ginny is preceded in death by her husband Charlie; her parents Clarence and Cleo; and her brother Claude. She is survived by her daughter Michelle; son Rich; sister Betty (Gene); and her grandchildren, Sean Sprague (Sara); Ryan Sprague (Arlo), and Cicely Brooks (Jordan). She is also survived by her great granddaughter, Morgan, and many nieces and nephews and their families.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at White Chapel Funeral Home, 6600 NE Antioch Rd., Gladstone, MO 64119 on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM with Visitation from 10:00 AM until service time.
