William (Bill) Frederick Long, Jr., 70, of Kansas City, MO, passed away July 21, 2015. William was born April 30, 1945 in St Louis, Missouri to the late William and Reba Long Sr. He retired from the Union Pacific Railroad as a Foreman in 2005; was a member of MOF and served in the National Guard and Air National Guard. William loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He also enjoyed riding roller coasters and acquiring a variety of collectables. Survivors include his wife, Linda Long; children, Bill (Leslie) Long, Jeff (Teresa) Long, Tina (Nate) Collins and Maisi Watts (Sam Maas); 9 grandchildren and sister, Janet (James) Gomes. Service is at 2:00pm, Saturday, July 25, 2015 at White Chapel Funeral Home. Entombment will be at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
