Sandra Elaine Henderson, 69, died Feb. 15 in Hartford Hospital after a long illness. Daughter of Russell Decovan Henderson and Willa Carrington Henderson of Jacksonville FL, she lived in Glastonbury CT but spent many years in the Boston area.
Sandra had a career in financial services and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She was a devout Christian Scientist and worked for the Christian Science church for a number of years. She is survived by her brother, Russell D Henderson Jr. of Upper Marlboro MD, two aunts, Ernestine Henderson Parrish of Buckeye AZ, and Alicia Henderson Watts of Chicago, first cousins Hameed El Amin, Huntsville Al. Cynthia Collins, Temple Hills, MD, Paulette Ward, Fort Washington, MD, Kenneth Lewis, Birmingham AL ,and four generations of other cousins and friends including lifelong friends Joseph and Nelly Henry of Jacksonville, Florida.
