What a wonderful person. 

Andy and I met in 1987 - Andy took me under his wing and taught me the ropes. 

I would meet him in court. He always had his worn-out leather case and the morning newspaper. 

I was in my twenties at the time. I stayed in property management and became a Vice President with three different companies.  

Now I am retiring and turning seventy.  Andy helped me become a good employee, and I enjoyed talking to him.

I just learned of Andy's passing. Back in the mid '70s, while a law student, I clerked one summer at the Legal Aid Society in Phoenix. I was lucky enough to be assigned to work with young lawyer Andrew Hull. He drove a C5 Jeep, carried an old-fashioned leather satchel "briefcase", was a certified "parrot head" (Jimmy Buffet fan) and also a devoted Boston Celtics fanatic (he even played in low top green Converse All Stars at pick-up basketball games.) In other words, he was an absolute blast to work (and play basketball) with and a true inspiration to me as a lawyer! May he Rest in Peace and his loved ones comforted by cherished memories of him.

Fred was a very exceptional friend!  Always considerate- thinking of others first. Remember his wardrobe as being strictly his own unique style. Wearing sashes and full length fur coats keeping warm during an Iowa winter in style. Pleased hearing the stories of his positive impact upon so many people.

Vicki and family, Andy was a great guy. We were pledge brothers at the Beta house. He was one of the most “civilized” of our Beta brothers. Andy took school very seriously. Sometimes when I would return from a night of fun Andy would still be sitting at his desk studying. His sense of humor was very dry and deep. You had to listen to his comments closely as there was always a bit of humor there.  Andy’s nickname was affectionately “ A Hull”. From his obituary it is evident he was well respected and loved by many. Good bye my Beta Brother. Steve Hamilton AB 1076.

Andy was one of a kind. When I became an Apartment Manger back in 1991, I met Andy and  he was my Attorney  over my 30 plus years. . He was always so giving and would donate to several of my residents activities throughout the years.  He never made you feel stupid when you asked him stupid questions, over and sometime over again.  He will be missed in our industry, just seeing him at different AMA events put a smile on my face.

There is no one like you Andy, the years working for you and knowing you are by far the most memorable in my life.   You were such a pleasure to work for, I loved coming to work because of you.   We all loved you...your incredible, wacky humor, practical jokes (especially the ones we played on you!), your kindness and amazing generosity, your unwavering devotion to your family who you shared with us.  No one had more fun than we did at the Law Office of Andrew M. Hull, and because of you, we wanted to work hard.  You never said a mean thing about anyone or ever complained...that was my job which made you cringe sometimes! There are very few people in this world who gave so much and expected so little.  You are a perfect example of human kindness.   I am heart broken like so many others who adored you.  Thank you so much for all the memories I will treasure forever.   I will always smile when I think of you.

Dearest Andrew: Thank you for all the memories-days spent working together, sharing special times, celebrating Christmas at your lovely home . Too many laughs to count. Those will be with me forever.  I feel extremely fortunate to have met and worked with you - even though for what I consider to be a relatively short time.  There are very few people in my life I have encountered other than my father & my husband that have never utter an unkind word, unnecessary comment or raised a voice to another in anger.  What a kind person you were, generous to a fault, rarely said "no"  and were an absolute joy to work with.  All those traits that were just a part of your being and your character -they, speak volumes about your person....... very rare, very special..... will think of you often, reminisce when possible and never forget the person that existed in you.  sam
