

Angel Almada Coronado, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and patriot, passed away on December 1, 2024, at the age of 91, in Glendale, Arizona. Born on August 2, 1933, in Phoenix, Arizona, Angel lived a great life marked by love, dedication, and service.
Angel proudly served in the Army, embodying the values of honor and military service throughout his life. He was first married to Maria O. Coronado, with whom he shared 45 beautiful years until her passing.
After finding love again, Angel married Shirley Oliger-Coronado and they had 25 wonderful years of love and happiness together, she survives him.
Angel leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion through his children Steve Coronado, Norma Coronado, Ray (Sandy) Coronado, Ruben Coronado, and Josie Coronado-Gallimore and 26 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren and 2 Great-great-grandchildren.
Angel was predeceased by his parents, Job and Josefa Coronado, and his beloved children, Angelo “Jim” Coronado and surviving wife, Chavela Coronado, Michael Coronado and surviving wife, Becky Coronado and Danny Coronado and surviving wife, Mary Coronado.
Funeral Services
A viewing will be held on December 14, 2024, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. A graveside service will take place at Resthaven Park Cemetery from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. A catered reception will be held immediately after.
Angel's life was a testament to love, family, and service. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
