Everyday in kindergarten we would go on the swings that were isolated from the others and just talk the entire recess period, we even asked for a play date. He was my first friend and even my first love. In 5th grade, i had a huge crush on him and when i confessed he told me “When i like you, you’ll know. I’ll be all nervous around you.” The night before his tragic death we were talking for hours about his recent crush on one of my best friends and when he was going to ask her out and he said “I have a plan like after valentine’s day i’m going to ask her out.” I miss him so much, he was honestly a big part of my life and it’s going to be hard without him.

Apolo you were the best, and you will be forever missed. May you Rest In Peace.

I had the pleasure of being Apolo's third grade teacher. He was kind, caring, smart, and had a great sense of humor. His smile was contagious and he was a loving friend to so many. He was a boy who made others want to push themselves to be better. He had great natural leadership skills. He was one of the kids that would get my sarcastic jokes, and the one that would answer in an accented voice if I spoke in one. He brought so much joy and laughter to so many lives. He will be deeply missed. I am proud of him and honored to have been part of his educational journey. Rest in peace, sweet boy. You are loved.

I first met Arimus in 5th grade. He was my bestfriend in middle school and helped me get through a lot. He continued to be my best friend in highschool and shortly became my first boyfriend in highschool. He was the funniest, and most kind person I knew. I had some of my best moments with him. With lots of persuasion, we went to all 4 of homecomings together. I am so sorry for your loss Aristotle and Leticia. You guys did a wonderful job with both of your kids. Apolo was a very hard worker ever since I met him . I would see him working hard every day at basketball practice. Every point he made during a game would be so exciting.He was loved so much by everyone and everyone will miss him so much.

 Apolo had the sweetest soul. He was so supportive and was one of the people I was the closest to. He always put others first. He was the best partner in social studies and someone I looked up to. He is someone I consider a brother. When he died a piece of me died. I feel terrible for the Nazareth family and I wish the best of healing to his family. I didn’t know much about Apolo‘s brother but I’ve heard about him and he sounded amazing. Two incredible, sweet, amazing people gone too soon. May they both rest easy and may their family heal. Always and forever, Mac. 

Apolo was an amazing brilliant kid. He always made people smile even then they were at their worst. I remember in 5th grade apolo had dyed his hair pink for breast cancer month. This kid always had the funniest and best hair styles for crazy hair day in elementary. Apolo would always motivate me in gym to keep going when I was tired, I could always hear him call my name from far away. I remember hearing him say “You got this Lellie” , “Come on lellie don’t stop keep going” .He would always call me lellie. Apolo was the only person I would let call me lellie, everyone else would call me by my name. I will always remember the sound of his voice, the way he would always scream my name in an excited tone. The passing of apolo feels so unreal to me I had just seen him the day before he passed it’s like if he just vanished. Apolo left a huge impact to everyone including teachers. Class isn’t the same without him. It’s like if the happiness of school vanished after he passed, it’s not like it used to be. Apolo will be deeply missed. He was my first friend in elementary, he always made me laugh and smile when no one else could. I would give up anything to see him one last time and hear him call me lellie one more time. He will always be remembered as the kid who always lit up the room when walking in, the boy who was always so full of joy and excitement, the boy who no matter what people said about him he was always happy, the boy who was always capable of making people laugh and smile even in their worst days, and the boy who was always such a great and brilliant student. Apolo’s impact on people will never be forgotten<3
