Betty Rose Wilson was born April 8, 1921 to Virgil Cornell and Edith R. Krebs in Terre Haute, IN. She was the oldest of three children, Victor and Gloria. From 6 months thru her early adult life she lived in Arlington, VA. She married Harry “Dan” Wilson in March 1937 and was a loving mother to Betty D. Kennedy, Harry Jr. “Danny” (deceased), William K. (deceased), Joseph M. (Karen), Georgan L. (deceased), and John S. (Elena); seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren. In her later years she enjoyed the loving company of John J. Wisdo. The family moved to Phoenix in late 1955 and lived there until moving back to Independent Hill, VA in 1967. She has lived in Newport, RI and most recently Hobe Sound, FL before returning to Arizona.
A Celebration of her Life will be held 10am on Saturday, April 27th at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale.
