With love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Carolyn Richter, who passed away on November 29, 2024, at the age of 89. She was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on September 17, 1935. After moving to Phoenix, Carolyn met the love of her life, L. Wayne Richter. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising three wonderful children: Suzette Richter Gibson (Jack), Randy Richter (Kathy), and Bret Richter (Marli). She had 8 beloved grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Carolyn’s life was defined by her devotion to her family, her faith, and her steadfast work ethic. A dedicated legislative secretary in the Arizona Senate, Carolyn balanced her career with her role as the heart of her family. She found her greatest joy in her children and grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, December 6th at 10 am at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints located at 325 W. Coral Gables.
