Our beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, and friend passed away at her home on June 14th with her loved ones by her side. Cece was born on January 26th 1942 in Canton, Ohio to Madeline and Jim Groenke. Cece spent many years in retail cosmetics at Broadway and Dillard’s, keeping us all looking and smelling sensational. Cece was a friend to many with her easy laugh and winning personality, and volunteered much of her time helping others. She was an active member of Sts. Simon and Jude Cathedral for many years before retiring to Heber Arizona, where she love the mountains and the small town lifestyle. For many years Cece and Dick participated in chili cook-offs throughout the state, meeting new people and reconnecting with others. Many ribbons where won! Cece was active with the Eagles, and as a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Heber.
Cece is survived by her husband, Richard (Dick), spending 55 wonderful years together. Cece is survived by her four children, Stephen (Dora), Kathy (Darren) Skogen, Joan Chenevey and Bill Chenevey and was blessed with 12 grandchildren. Cece leaves behind a brother, Fred (Patsy), and sister Nancy (Kenny) Smith and many loving sister and brother in laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins along with Deborah Chenevey and Dan Barolli.
