Cecelia Ann Paz

Cecelia “cealybabe” Ann Paz, born May 21, 1953 in Phoenix. My champion, wife, friend and soulmate joined our Lord on March 2, 2025 after a courageous fight with health issues. She will be remembered for her devotion to her faith, family, friends, prayer group, compassion, laughter, event soirees, and causes.

Cecelia was born and raised in Phoenix. She resided in California a brief time before returning to Phoenix. She started working in non-traditional jobs before having a successful career in the Non-Profit arena, starting with the ADA – Event Coordinator; overseeing the American Diabetes Tour de Cure as the national highest contributing event her first year. She went on to fulfill roles as a Dir. of Development for SFH (STARS), Capital Campaign Mgr. for AASK, and Executive Director for a cancer resource and support agency.

She is preceded by her mother Florence Rita Laughlin, sons; Thomas M Combs, and Tommy L Paz. She is survived by husband Gary L Paz, daughters; Christina M Paz, Sandra M Paz-Rodriguez (Frankie f), son Samuel L Paz, daughter-in-law Stacey A. Combs and, 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, sisters Michele, Christine, LouAnne and many brothers and sisters in-law, nephews, and nieces. Visitation will be held on April 03, 2025 at 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Chapel of the Chimes 7924 N 59th Ave Glendale Az. A Funeral Mass will be held April 4, 2025 Sts. Simon and Jude Catholic Cathedral 6351 N 27th Ave Phoenix AZ, a Graveside service following at Holy Redeemer Catholic Cemetery 23015 N Cave Creek Rd Phoenix AZ .
