

Charlie attended school in Camden, Maine. In 1940 attended Aero Industries Technical Institute to work in the defense plant in Connecticut. In 1941 he enlisted in the Army and during World War II he was stationed in Okinawa and worked on B29 planes. He was discharged from the Army in 1946.
After the Army Charlie attended Roosevelt Aviation School and received his mechanics and instructions license. He then went to work for Knox County Flying Services as a Mechanic and Flight Instructor.
In 1950 he decided to re-enlist in the Army and served in the Korean War. He was stationed in Washington D.C. with Military Services – Special Unit Division. His duties included working on the Presidential and VIP Aircraft Fleet. In 1966 he was sent to Vietnam and served 19 months. In 1968 was sent to England Air Force Base and then returned home in 1969.
After he retired from the military he worked for several companies which included Tri-Angle Helicopters, in the Washington D.C. Area and Air Exec in Ocean City, Maryland. He became part owner of Air Strip in Wolf City, Texas.
In 1977 Charlie moved to Phoenix, Arizona and married Margaret Klusosky. She passed away in 1988. In 1992 he married Betty Wilkson. Charlie and Betty loved to travel the world.
Charlie leaves behind two brothers, Richard Trask and Joseph Trask who is deceased. He had four grandchildren, Charlie and Richard Trask, Betty Fotiter and Lorna Tucker.
Visitation for Charlie Trask will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary located at 7924 N. 59th Avenue, Glendale, Arizona on Wednesday September 23, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm with Frank Devine speaking at 6pm. Graveside service at the National Memorial Cemetery located 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd. Phoenix, Arizona on Thursday September 24, 2015 at 10am.
