Chris...you are missed more than you would have ever imagined.  You were full of life, laughs and sooo much love for everyone you came into contact with.  

I first met you when I was first dating your brother Todd (future husband).  You were super silly and funny and asked a ton of questions.   I seem to remember a wine glass fell over. So for ten years, you and Todd talked almost each and every day.  I've never known two people to talk that much in my entire 55 years of life.

I hope you enjoyed the service and the motorcycle procession, and all the flags and salutes.  They shut down Phoenix for you!  All for you.  <3

I hope that you and your Mom and Dad are having a nice chat up there.  One day, all of us will be reunited.  

Until then, just know we will love on your family you left behind, and I will take care of your little brother the best I know how to do...and we will continue to keep your memory going forever and ever.  You are LOVED.

To Chris's beautiful family. 
I first met Chris in the early summer of 2009. We had just moved to Anthem with our 1-yr old daughter, and within a week after closing we got a notice from the HOA that the exterior needed to be painted. I usually throw away business cards left on our driveway or doorstep, but when I picked up Chris's and held it, I could feel a positive energy and gave him a call immediately. He proceeded to paint not only our house, but all 8 of the others in the cul-de-sac. He was known in our neighborhood as 'Chris the Painter', and did many jobs for us and our neighbors in Walden Ct. It was always so nice to drive into our cul-de-sac and see his white truck parked there, as we knew there'd be stories and catching up on life. He gushed about his family - so proud of his beautiful wife and daughters, and more recently, his excitement for weddings and grandkids. 

We feel blessed that over this past summer he was at our house staining cabinets and painting the exterior for about 6 weeks in June & July. We bought a 12-pk of PBR for Chris to take home for the weekend. It happened to be my birthday, so we each had one, and he gave me one for my birthday.  It's still in my fridge. 

A couple of days before our annual summer trip home to Minnesota, he called both me and my husband and said he had something for us and it was very important that we be home so he could drop it off. We scratched our heads when he said he didn't see one hanging in our house. What could it be? 

Imagine our surprise when he handed us a beautiful, handcrafted cross to protect our house while we were gone, and watch over us and our children for years to come. 

We were shocked to learn of his passing - he was so young and vibrant, climbing up and down ladders in 112F heat! 

Love you Chris, we were blessed to have your friendship over the past 11 years. And many condolences to his family-may his memories someday outweigh the sorrow.

The best wingman during family occasions. From the time we sat down till we said goodbye, I could expect to hear honest words of wisdom. It was always from the heart. I am ever grateful for those moments.

We only had the privilege to meet Christopher when his beautiful daughter Stephanie married my son Cody in August 2019. During a handful of conversations throughout that amazing weekend I knew right away what a kind, compassionate and loving man he was. Witnessing  how he not only interacted with the bride to be,  but everyone around him I could see he was a man after Gods heart and had a loving heart towards all. He was a true and respectful gentleman to me as we shared our excitement for the wedding of his daughter and my son. I see his personality trait of love and compassion for others shine through in Stephanie. I also see his smile and love for life in her too! I wish I could have gotten to know him better and share grandparenthood with him. God bless his soul and the family. 🙏🏻

Chris was the life of the party, he always brought everyone together.  We always had a good time when we gathered for holidays and special occasions.  We’d sit outside with our drinks and smokes and have those deep conversations I always looked forward to with him.  He always shared what was on his mind and I loved that about him.  What I loved most is how much he loved my brother Avo and always told me how proud he was of him.  We miss him dearly, love you Chris.

My Christopher. My step father. My friend. I miss him every single day. A man who kept our family laughing constantly. I have too many thoughts to put down now but I talk to him daily and he knows my thoughts. He is greatly missed and I cherish our relationship more than anything. I love you Christopher. Sarah 

As a first cousin I was lucky to have known Chris our entire lives and can say with total honesty that during our 63 years; Chris and I never had a cross word. Chris was simply one of the best people I have ever had the privilege to know and love.  Even though there were years we lost touch as we married, divorced, remarried.. raised our children; everytime we spent time together it was as if no time had passed.  

I was fortunate to have had quality time with him during August 2020 and during that time we talked and talked about everything.... including death as I had just lost my mother ... his aunt... during his stay with us.  He had no regrets.  

He loved his family and talked of them often.  He adored Jeannie his wife beyond words, you saw it in his eyes when her spoke of her. He was also able to visit with 4 of his life long friends, a man he considered a second father and his daughter Stephanie during his stay in Ojai.  

He was blessed and although he  left us much to soon;  he lived a good life.  RIP my friend and cousin.  🙏
