

Darlene Charlotte (Schultz) Gosch, 77, of Phoenix, Arizona joined her husband, Paul, in heaven on December 14, 2020 with her son by her side. Darlene was born in Chicago, Illinois to Vivian (Vaughn) and Alfred C. Schultz on July 22, 1943, the youngest of three children.
Darlene grew up in Chicago and attended school there. She met and married the love of her life, Paul, shortly after graduation and together they raised three children. Darlene and Paul worked together, in the family flower business for many years. In 1977 they relocated to Phoenix where they purchased an established flower business. They expanded the store to add their Chicago Train items to the flower shop. After closing the business she continued to work at “The Green Woodpecker” as a florist until she retired.
Darlene collected carousel horses. She loved doing all kinds of arts and crafts. Darlene had a passion for butterflies. She loved them so much that she decorated with them, always having them around her.
Darlene’s heart was her children. She as the perfect mom; not just for her but for all of her children’s friends.
Darlene leaves behind her sons Ken (Shawnna) Gosch and Raymond Gosch; grandchildren Brandon, Kennedy, Nathanael, Levi, Cassey and Christopher; great grandchildren Kayden, Parker, Tomas, Karizma, Aiden, Promise, Serenity and Tristin.
Darlene is preceded in heaven by her parents Vivian and Alfred; her only love, Paul; son Tom; siblings Al and Lee.
Darlene will be remembered by all who knew her, for her loving heart and kind spirt.
Private services will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery.
A “Celebration of Life” will be scheduled at a later date.
