David R. Reed

He departed this life peacefully on July 2nd, 2025 with his wife, Sharm and two sons Michael Anthony and David jr. Reed at his bedside.

At 74 years young David did many things throughout his lifetime. He was funny, loving, caring and helpful to those he associated himself with. He had a passion for music and spent much of his time DJ'ing for entertainment and the love of music. He was an avid sports fan with The Arizona Cardinals and The Detroit Lions being his favorite football teams. He was a "David of All Trades" because there was not anything he could not fix. He enjoyed helping others when he could and retired from caregiving at Gompers in 2014.

David is proceeded in death by his parents Gertrude Thomas, Brozie Reed, a grandchild Jaylen Elboy and a step-son Richard Bankston jr. along with many other loved ones.

Besides, his loving wife, two sons and step-son Jonathan Ware he is survived by his daughters Dana Rene Reed, Denita Reed and Maquala Elboy whom he loved dearly. His siblings, Anthony Thomas, Sydney Elizabeth Marrow and Donna Maria Jackson along with a host of friends and family including cousins, grand children, great grandchildren and great- great grandchildren.

We will carry with us the memories we made.
