David was born April 16, 1952 to Howard and Marylou Wilcox in Belleville, IL on Scott Air Force Base. He resided in Arizona for most of his life.
David was a hardworking man. He served in the Army for six years and worked in the fields he loved of electrical and mechanical until he retired in 2021 from Dolphin, Inc. He had many skills and was always willing to help anyone with any fix-it jobs they threw at him, which his family threw many of at him, sometimes just as an excuse to spend time with him.
David was a wonderful father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends.
David is survived by his son, Bryan Wilcox, grandchildren, Amelia and Milo, Bryan's mom Claudia Stewart, brothers and sisters Dennis Wilcox, Ty Wilcox, Jim Wilcox, Joy Dunn, and Gay Stutzman, and many nieces and nephews.
David loved to scuba dive and his wishes were to spend his eternity among the seas that he loved so much. His ashes will be spread at a later date in the ocean, where he can continue his underwater adventures.
There is no service planned, but in memory of David, you can raise a glass of wine.
