Denise McKercher

Denise McKercher, 59 of Goodyear, AZ passed away on May 2, 2012. Denise is survived by her husband of 14 years David, her daughter Carol, grandchildren Kurtiss and Hannah, sister Patricia and brother Curt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and numerous good friends. Denise is preceded in death by her parents Burr Randall and Marion Rear Randall, her brothers Wayne and Mickey, her grandson Brandon and her cousin Penny.

Denise was born in Elmira, NY in 1952. She lived in various places in upstate New York during her childhood. Denise moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1978. She worked at McDonalds as a morning shift manager when she first moved to Phoenix. Denise eventually went to work for Good Samaritan Hospital, holding many different positions from Admitting to Billing/Collections. Denise spent over 30 years in the medical administration industry working for various hospitals and doctors in the Phoenix area.

Denise was a volunteer for many years with CASA in Phoenix working as a phone counselor and she also supported the Phoenix Zoo for many years. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren; she loved reading, watching TV and playing games.

Denise was the caring soul to family and friends that was always either the Mom or Sister that everyone could go to for love and support. She was in every way the true good soul and we will all miss her love and spirit.

We love you with all our hearts and we know you are soaring on those new wings you have enjoying the sensation of no longer being in pain and being free to go and do whatever you want. Please don’t bother God too much though, I know he has a lot of important work to do and I know you had a lot of questions to ask.

Until we meet again, we will remember you in our hearts our sweet angel Denise.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 7:00 P.M. at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Ave., Glendale, Arizona 85301.
