Don also hired me at the City of Phoenix.  I worked at the Library and when he hired me it was a nice pay raise since I had just married.  He was a really great guy and a very nice person.  I always remember him and appreciate the opportunity he gave me at MIS.  Thanks Don.  God Bless.

Don was the first person to hire me in Phoenix after I got out of the Navy in 1960. I worked for him at the City of Phoenix Data processing center.  He was a real people person.  After making sure I was hired, and after only working one day I asked Don for a long weekend so I could get married and go on a 3 day honeymoon.  He said go and live a long happy life, 52 years later I still remember his kindness and the smile on his face.
