Dorothy Rita Warner

Dorothy "Dotti" Warner (Kern) 72, Glendale,Arizona peacefully entered into eternal rest in God’s Kingdom on February 13th, 2024. Dotti was born and raised in Lansingburgh, New York. She was the daughter of the late Harvey and Rita Kern Sr. She was predeceased by her husband Mark Warner Sr.

In 2006, she visited the Grand Canyon and fell in love. It was then that she decided that she wanted to spend her final years in Arizona. She retired in 2014 as a computer operator for the SUNY systems of N.Y. and relocated to Arizona.

Dotti loved going to the Grand Canyon, The Botanical Gardens, The Phoenix Zoo as well as any other park she could find. She especially enjoyed sharing these places with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren when they visited.

Dotti had an immense passion for all things Christmas. She was an avid collector of Hallmark ornaments, and would often leave her tree up into the spring. Her favorite holiday movie was Emmet Otter’s Jug-Band Christmas.

Dotti leaves behind three wonderful children, Mark (Sharon) Warner Jr. of Arizona,

Angela (William) Hinds of New York, and Dustin Warner of Nevada. Five beautiful grandchildren, Sarra (Will) Benjamin, Evan Warner, Luke Warner, Jacob Warner, and Alex Napoli. Two great grandchildren, Lily Warner and Louis Warner. Also a very special grandniece Zoie Breslin. Dotti is also survived by two loving sisters Kathie Morris and Linda (Terry) Kern, brother Harvey (Debra) Kern Jr., many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held later in New York.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor at The Grand Canyon Conservancy.
