D’Vine Alina Lujan, 20, of Phoenix, Arizona arrived unexpectedly in heaven on September 20, 2020. D’Vine was born in Phoenix, Arizona on June 15, 2000 to Michelle C. Esquivel. Growing up D’Vine loved to watch her favorite shows, keeping her brother´s in line, coloring with her sister´s, and collecting shells, pictures and stuffed animals, her favorite being giraffes. She also loved visiting her family in New Mexico, and gardening with her grams. As a baby, dancing with her TeTe & TaTa always put a big smile on her face. She looked forward to the holiday’s especially Thanksgiving. She loved food; she often asked for grams rice, strawberry ice cream, and junk food. Takis, Hershey’s, and Ferrero’s were her favorite. She also enjoyed being around children; often playing the role as a second mother to her siblings, and lets not forget her love and passion for animals especially her own dogs Pinto, Sophie, and her fish Blue Cheese.
D´vine attended school in Glendale and graduated from Glendale High School. During her senior year she went on to get her first job at Golden Corral where her family has memories of surprising her by showing up while she was working, the smile on her face was priceless. She went on to enroll in some college courses, but had not yet decided on what profession to pursue. She was a person who lived by the moment, not by the plan.
D’Vine was very witty. She had a magnetic and diverse personality. She was a princess, on one side, and a spontaneous adventure seeker on the other. Her princess side loved the color pink and would always be well put together. She made sure her hair, nails, and makeup were always done, especially her eyelashes. Her spontaneous side liked to fly by the night, travel to random places, and enjoy what the world had to offer.
D’Vine had a love for music of all genres, especially rap, unless she was in her ¨feels¨ that's when you'd hear her favorite slow jams on repeat. D’Vine’s greatest love was her family. She always wanted to spend time with her siblings especially her chicken nugget Amerie to whom she was very close with. She was the soul of her family.
She leaves behind her mommy, Michelle; siblings D’metryis, Elijah, Adrina, Larieah, & Amerie; her Tata Samuel & Grams Olivia Esquivel, & her Tete Ester Parras; cousins Idalis, Isaiah & Bella Salazar; Uncle Dan and Tia Jess Salazar; Tia’s Serina & Valerie Esquivel; including the Sandez´s and many more family and friends that she loved and that loved her.
D’Vine will forever be loved & missed
