Eleanor May Prieger

Eleanor Prieger of Phoenix, AZ passed away peacefully into the loving arms of Jesus on July 16, 2020 at the age of 88. She was born on February 17, 1932 in Barberton, OH. She was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Louis, second husband Robert Hill, daughter Carol (Terry) Wohlgenant, parents Louis and Judith Beres and brothers Jim (Lois) Beres and John Beres.

She is survived by her children: David (Linda), Janice (Walter) Schlarb, Dan and Mark (Ann); as well as her grandchildren: Aaron, Zachary (Brianna), TJ, Meghan (Eric) Bodjanac, Matthew Wohlgenant, Dylan Schlarb,Taylor Schlarb and Jaden Schlarb and great-grandchildren: Charlotte, Harper, Levi and Nora Bodjanac. Her surviving siblings are Robert (the late Dorothy) Beres, Louis (Joleta) Beres and Betty (the late Bob) Dolfen.

Eleanor was a faithful member of the Apostolic Christian Church for 60 years. She very much appreciated all the prayers, meals, cards and phone calls from her dear church family.

Due to COVID restrictions, a private funeral service will take place. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society would be appreciated by the family.
