

Esteban Martinez Vasquez, 90, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026, in Phoenix, AZ. Born on September 2, 1935, Esteban lived a full and meaningful life dedicated to his family, community, and country.
Esteban proudly served in the U.S. Army before embarking on a long and fulfilling career with the City of Phoenix. His dedication and hard work left a lasting impact on those who worked alongside him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Luz B. Vasquez; sons William and Johnny Camou; daughters Molly Camou, Nancy Miller, Cecelia Arvallo, and Stephanie Vasquez, brothers Robert and Mike Vasquez, sisters Ofelia Lopez, Margaret Gaitan, and Maryann Ojeda; as well as 17 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to his life. Esteban was predeceased by his parents Ignacio Vasquez and Luz Martinez; brothers Ygnacio M. Vasquez Jr. and Edward Vasquez; and his son Eddie J. Camou.
A visitation will be held on April 2, 2026, at West Resthaven Cemetery and Funeral Home, located at 6450 W Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, beginning at 10 AM. A funeral service will follow at 12 Noon with burial at 1 PM. Family and friends are invited to gather for a reception from 2 PM to 4 PM to celebrate Esteban's life.
Esteban's legacy of love, service, and devotion will forever be cherished by those who knew him.
May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing.
