Frances K. Brown

Frances Katherine Brown, a cherished, hard-working, independent, and kind-hearted soul, passed away on September 26, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Fort Lupton, Colorado, on February 2, 1934, to the late Pete and Lidwina Schell, Frances lived a life full of love, dedication, and resilience.

Frances worked as an inspector for various electronics companies, from Motorola to Honeywell. She was a devoted mother, raising her three children, Barbara, Randall, and Sandra, with unwavering strength and love.

In addition to her parents, Frances is preceded in death by her husband and her daughter, Barbara Callahan. She is survived by her children, Randall Brown and Sandra Brown, and her grandchildren, Ashley Ernst, Tara Callahan, and Kyle Callahan. She also leaves behind her sister, Mary Kruetzer, and nephew, Gary Kruetzer, both residing in Colorado.

Frances found joy in the simple pleasures of life, enjoying puzzles, Bingo, Bunko with neighborhood community friends, and traveling with her children. She cherished visits to her sister in Colorado and was deeply involved with her church, St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Peoria, Arizona.

Known for her non-judgmental nature and independence, Frances was always willing to help those in need. Her legacy as a great listener and giver of good advice will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to attend services on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at West Resthaven Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Frances will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale, Arizona
