

Gale was born in Coulee Dam, Washington to parents, Alan, and Elizabeth (Farren) MacDougall.
Upon completing high school in Half Moon Bay, California, Gale enlisted in the United States Navy. He served from 1972 to 1987. Gale was honorably discharged.
After working for a few different companies, Gale started his own business in San Diego, California. He married, had three children, and later divorced.
Gale later met Karen Crocker, and they married in June 2009. He introduced her to his love of Jeepin’ and he was a member of Tierra del Sol Jeep Club (in San Diego) for more than 35 years. He and his wife enjoyed traveling, they took multiple cruises and visited numerous countries.
Gale was a lifetime member of the Gila Valley Mason’s Lodge No. 9, in Florence, Arizona, the El Zaribah Shriner’s in Phoenix, and the Scottish Rite Lodge in San Diego. He was also the Pinal County coordinator for the Red Cross, a Disaster Action Team Supervisor and was recently awarded his 20-year pin from the Arizona Red Cross.
Gale is survived by his wife of 12 years, Karen MacDougall; brother, Alan MacDougall; children, Jeremy , Meredith , and Zachary; grandchildren, Aubrey, Kallum, Kipton, Hayleigh, Sebastan, Sean, Kristin, Jessica, Lucas, Julia, Andy, and Micah.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
A Masonic service will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at 2:00 pm at El Zaribah Shrine Temple, 552 N 40th St, Phoenix, AZ 85008.
A graveside service (with military honors) will take place on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 1:00 pm. Please arrive at 11:45 am at Green Acres Mortuary, 5830 W Missouri Ave., Glendale, AZ 85301, and the Patriot Guard Riders will escort us to the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N Cave Creek Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85024.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, in Gale’s memory.
