Jack Sylvester Watson, 94, of Tempe, Arizona, passed away on June 4, 2022, in Glendale, Arizona. He was born December 28, 1937, in Los Angeles, California to the late Robert Joseph Watson and Elsa Wilhelmine Weiler Watson. In was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Watson. Jack attended Englewood High School in Englewood, Colorado and was a proud Navy Veteran of World War II.
He was an Insurance Broker for Commercial vehicles, especially trucks, for many years, but after he retired, he realized a long-held dream by starting a niche dealership (Jack Watson Motor Cars, Ltd) for restored Volkswagen Beetles, mainly convertibles, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In addition to being a car buff, Jack also loved old movies and film making and even applied and appeared in several films as an extra. He was an avid bicyclist and loved to read American History. Jack made up for his lack of family by making many long-lasting friendships. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
