James Paul Rodriguez Sr.

James Paul Rodriguez Senior was 82 years old and passed away on January 9th. 2023 in the comfort of his own home. James was born on March 3rd, 1940 in New Mexico. He lived in California and moved to Arizona in the late 1960’s. He was married to Nohemi Rodriguez. They shared nearly 54 years of marriage, (January 17th would have been their 54th Anniversary).

He was the son of Lupe and Eloisa Rodriguez. James worked in construction. James worked in ministry and was a full time Pastor for 17 years for the Redeemed Church of Maryvale.

James always enjoyed helping family and friends in any capacity at a moment's notice. James enjoyed coaching soccer. James coached his children and grandchildren for many years. He will be remembered for his smile, sense of humor and the love and compassion for his wife, family, and the community. He will also be remembered for his love for Christ and his passion for building the kingdom of God.

He is survived by his wife and 7 children, 2 sisters, 24 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and daughter.

He will be greatly missed by his family and everyone who knew him! He will always be remembered in our hearts.
