Jason Damon Hughes "J-Byrd"

Hughes, Jason Damon ‘J-Byrd’ Born Feb 10, 1976 in Kansas City, MO to Sharon and Roy Hughes. Jason Hughes went to be with the Lord on Jan.4th, 2014 at 3:30 p.m. in Peoria Az. He graduated from Peoria High School as an athlete star. He went on to play football for the Semi-Pro team called "Militia". He attended G.C.C. He was a law clerk for Pitney and Bowes, and worked in law enforcement here and Las Vegas. He was a member of the National M.S. Society. God's Word, Will, Way, Loving-Caring Ministries, "Voice" of the disabled, Fathers Matters, Child and Family Resources, Epilepsy Foundation, The National Parks and Federal Recreational. He was friends with Sheriff Joe Arpaio and Governor Janet Napolitano. He had one son named Jason Damon Hughes II. Jason lived in Peoria about 37 years. He was a devoted child of God, a loving father and selfless son. Jason is survived in death by his Parents: Sharon and Michael Hibbitt, Brothers: Darrin Hughes, Michael Hibbitt Jr (Daphne), Geoffrey Hibbitt (Tammy), Saieed Hasan (Maria), Sisters: Patricia Allen (David), Catalina Torres (Naijah), Donisha Galbreath, Esperanza Torres (Karl), Jamilah Joiner (Cornelius), Meredith Hurt, and many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, Cousin's, and all of our Spiritual family. Visitation will be held at West Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery 6450 W. Northern Ave, Glendale AZ 85301 on Friday January 17 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday January 18th at 11am. Entombment will follow at West Resthaven Park Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. Jason always said, I love our Father God! I love my son "lil J-Byrd"! I love all mankind, the good and the evil. In Christ Jesus!
