In June 1946, Jean married the love of her life, Robert "EJ" Lowery. The pair had a whirlwind romance meeting only three months prior when EJ walked in to her office delivering milk. Jean leaned over to her girlfriend and said "That's my husband right there" before walking over and meeting EJ for the first time. From then on out they were inseparable, you hardly saw one without the other. Their union resulted in their son Bobby who was the apple of her eye.
Travel was a cornerstone of their marriage. The pair enjoyed packing up their RV and seeing as much of the country as they could and visiting family.
Jean was survived by her loving friends and family who will continue to keep her memory alive through telling there stories of Jean. She is proceeded in death by her husband Robert "EJ" Lowery, her son Robert "Bobby" Paul Lowery, her parents, and her siblings.
