Words alone cannot describe my Aunt Jean! While she might have faced a life of great burdens, she handled it with such grace and acceptance! She always kept an immaculate home and yard, cooked delicious meals, and displayed her faith in the Lord as the cornerstone for her family. Through it all she had such a strong commitment to her children and unconditional love for her grandchildren.

I will miss our telephone chats and getting her letters. I am so very thankful that we were able to spend a wonderful week with her in the Spring of 2023. We shared many hugs, smiles and laughter during that time. I enjoyed hearing all of her stories about her life growing up and as a young mother. 

My Aunt Jean was always such a humble and kind lady. She saw only the good in people and was so very generous to her family. She gave of herself unselfishly over and over again. She was truly one of those people that made lives better. I feel so blessed to have had her in my life.

My best memories of "great" Aunt Jean...She was such an incredibly strong, faithful woman who did her very best to remain relevant and contribute to the world around her.  Boy she was a good cook! I still regularly make her Sweet & Sour Chicken and her Enchiladas 'Restaurant Style' recipe she shared with me in 1991!

This photo was from Spring 2021 -  the time we traveled to Arizona to visit family and my son got to meet her. When he sees this picture, he says,  he remembers the "flowers she planted and took care of at her apartment building and how patient and kind her voice was." Isn't that the truth...a woman who always showed so much kindness and generosity to ALL! What a beautiful life she lived, a true example for us all! Love, Shawna, Jonathan & Declan

Jean was a Special Lady.  Now we all have a Special Guardian Angel watching over us.

Jean was the grandma of grandma’s! Spending time at her house with Susan growing up  provided memories I’ll never forget! She was loving, nurturing and kind to everyone she met, and I’m so thankful I was able to love and know her.

Jean was the reason I have Jesus. She took me to church and I will always be grateful for her kindness and sweet smile.
