Johnny W Dodd

Johnny was born in Waco Texas on January 31st 1953. Johnny W. Dodd graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in Dallas, Texas. He was married to Thelma (Managuid) Dodd in January of 2011.

Johnny Dodd retired from the United States Air force after 20 years of diligent service. He then worked for St. Joseph’s Hospital for approximately 20 years.

He was survived by (wife) Thelma Dodd, (brothers) Clarence Dodd Jr, and David Lee Dodd, (Sister) Kathy Lewis, (Sons) Curtis Dodd, Derrick Dodd (Stephanie R.), Felton Dodd, Scott Irwin Wright (Lisa) (Daughter) Devon Marie Booze (Gabe), A special niece Vonetta Dodd Joseph of whom he assisted rearing. Special Aunts and Uncle Essie R. Perkins of Houston Texas and Bobbie Jean Rhodes (Ulysses) of Lanham Maryland. A host of Grandchildren, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends.

Johnny is preceded by his parents Clarence & Mable Dodd Sr.(Brother) Tommy Durand Dodd, (Son) Johnny Durand Dodd (Bump)

Funeral arrangements will be held at 11:00am October 3rd at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary
