Joseph Colonel Taylor was born November 8, 1934 in Peoria, Arizona and went to be with his Lord and Savior December 12, 2025. Joe was an Arizona native and grew up in Wickenburg along the Hassayampa River. While in Wickenburg, Joe met and married Mary Anne Ford. They were married 73 years and raised 4 girls – Cindy Carnahan (Gary), Valerie Lathen (Jim), Linda Bodine (Ralph) and LaNetta Duede (Gary).
Joe is survived by his wife, 4 daughters and 3 sons-in-law, 14 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, 3 great, great grandchildren, his sister Opal Crosser and numerous nieces and nephews.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Erastus Wesley Taylor and Aurelia Elizabeth Teague, 3 brothers, 5 sisters and his in-laws, Ray Anton Ford, Madge Octavia Farrar and his son-in-law Ralph Bodine.
A celebration of life will be held at Harvest Church, located at 8340 West Northern Ave., Glendale, AZ 85305, on December 26, 2025, starting at 12:00 pm.
