I think of Mr. Les and Susan and Aaron often.  Kathy was such a fun,amazing kind person.  I hope you feel comfort in knowing so many people love and miss her. May God bless you all.

As I was making tamales for Christmas (2023) this past month, I thought of you.  Kathy, you loved my tamales! As I sat there, making them a tear rolled down my check  remembering your laugh.  You had that teasing laugh and it sure was contagious!

Prayers for Kathy's family!  She was a big part of my life as we were growing up!  We were tennis partners, not that either of us were really very good BUT we had a great time!  

Kathy was our librarian at Desert Valley Elementary. When I was in 5th grade and couldn’t participate in P.E. class due to a leg injury, Kathy took me in. She showed me how to organize the books, helped with my homework, and always had time for me to have fun. I will never forget her laugh or chuckle when a teacher passing by would say something funny. I will miss her tremendously and so thankful I have these memories of my childhood with her. 
To Aaron and the family my thoughts, love, and prayers are with you always .

I just wanted to add this photograph of Kathy (on the left), my brother Pat (next to Kathy), I believe Bobbi and Kay Robinson and myself (on the right).  I forgot to  mention earlier in a memory post that Kathy is my cousin.  We grew up in St. Joseph, Mo.  We were a very tight knit family (Riha's, Curry's, Robinson's).  We shared in some very strong and joyful memories growing up together.  Michael Riha, Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania.

Kathy will always hold a special place in my heart.  So many childhood memories.  Kathy always loved music and dancing.  I can remember Kathy spinning a 45 rpm record on her record player in their basement.  We would all join in, sing along and dance.  Her smile and laughter were infectuous.  Rest in Jesus Kathy.

I have the greatest honor to know Kathy during the years we both worked at Desert Valley.  She and I share a love of library and books with kids.  She was the most fun to be around, always laughing, and her smile was the happiest beginning to each morning.  Her family meant everything to her and we often were able to share stories of our kids and the joy they brought to us.  She always lifted my soul and brought joy to my day.  She knew how to see the happiness in every day.  I am so thankful for her influence to me and my kids.

We were raised in an extended loving family.  May you feel Gods boundless love as our family surrounds you with our thoughts and prayers.

I am Tim Curry, Kathy’s first cousin.  She was 2-3 years older than I.  She had the coolest 45 vinyl record collection.  She let me be 😎 with her sometimes and listen to her collection.  When we watched scary movies on Friday nights she would be the courageous one and go to the screen door and latch it.  She taught me courage.  Love her to the max.  My thought and prayers are with all our family.



I am Kathy's 1st cousin, Tom.  We were very close as kids. We used to wrestle and...you talk about smile and laugh.... anytime Kathy got me in a head lock out came the laugh and smile until I said Uncle.  My Mom  was always  telling me about Kathy, Les, Susan, and Aaron and what each was up to. Prayers for family healing and a special healing prayer for her best friend of almost 50 yrs. Love to you, Jen.

Dear Les, Aaron and Susan,

I was Kathy's visiting teacher for a number of years. Monthly visits with her in her home were a joy and I got to know her well. More than anything I knew of her love and devotion to her family. May you all be comforted in knowing that you will see her again.

My friendship with Kathy began in 1963 in our freshman year in high school. Wow what fun adventures we had : so many pajama parties; exploring the beautiful MtMora cemetery not far from where she lived was a  favorite ;driving the boulevard.; cruising the drive-in hot spots to eat; Krug Park; Hyde Park
 We remained close throughout the years but the last 15 or so we have spent more time together. Kathy has been blessed with a beautiful family and wonderful friends and I feel fortunate I was able to get to know many of the people involved. She is a light and she will be missed.

I have many fond memories of trips my family took to St. Joe and the fun we all had there, but my fondest memories are at our summer home in Stone Harbor, New Jersey.  No one could think up more pranks or adventures than Kathy.   We never got any sleep because we moved our twin beds together and laughed all night.  While I have not seen Kathy in recent years, my memories of her playful spirit live on.  Kay Robinson born and raised in Mars, PA.  Now in San Francisco Bay Area. First cousin.

Prayers for Kathy's family!  I was Kathy's doubles tennis partner!  We had a lot of fun growning up together and playing a lot of tennis!
