

Larry Gene Elliott, born on July 7, 1942, in Pettis County, Missouri, passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 83. A resident of Hereford, Arizona, Larry was known for his constant and infectious chuckle.
Larry was a compassionate, gentle, faithful, and kind-hearted man. He was the beloved husband of Lorraine, and together they shared a life full of love and laughter.
He is survived by his children, Connie and Michael and his wife Marisol, his grandchildren, Angela and Larry, and his great-grandchildren, Joel and Dana. Larry also leaves behind his brother, Loyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Danny and Alma Edna Elliott, his siblings, Warren and Wayne, his daughter, Catherine, and his son-in-law, Tony.
Larry was a proud Navy veteran and dedicated much of his career to public service. He worked for the City of Phoenix in Road and Bridge Construction and retired after 33 years as a Chief Construction Inspector in the Aviation Department at Phoenix Sky Harbor. There, he played a significant role in projects including the addition of the third runway, various taxiways, and the building of Terminal 4. Even after retirement, Larry continued to contribute through contract work on projects at Nellis Air Force Base.
Beyond his professional achievements, Larry loved the outdoors and camping. From Scouts to fishing and family deer hunting trips, he cherished every moment spent in nature. An avid tinkerer and woodworker, Larry would often disappear into his workshop for hours at a time. Above all else, family was his greatest source of happiness and pride.
A faithful follower of Jesus, Larry's legacy is one of love, devotion, and a life well-lived. He will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.
