Larry Leroy Sporleder

Larry Leroy Sporleder, age 83, of Glendale, Arizona passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2024. He was born in Carroll, Iowa on October 17, 1940 to Carl and Sophie Sporleder. Larry served in the Air Force from 1960 to 1964 where he was trained to be an aircraft mechanic. Larry enjoyed working as an aircraft mechanic and retired from this profession in 2012. Once retired, Larry was able to spend more time doing the things he loved, spending time with his family, gardening. playing cribbage, and watching football.

Larry was married to Susan K. Sporleder March 7, 1969 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Glendale, Arizona. Larry was dedicated to serving the Lord. He attended many functions at St. John's Lutheran Church where he enjoyed the fellowship and love of fellow believers.

Larry is survived by his wife, Susan Sporleder. His daughters Trina (wife Amy), Heather (husband Matt) and grandchildren: Sebastian, Braeden, Hannah, Nathan, Jacob, Hannah, and two great-grandchildren: Lilly and River.

Services will be Monday, October 7,2024 at 4:00PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 7205 N. 51st Ave. Glendale, Arizona.
