Leland Andrew Johnson

Leland Johnson, 64, of Phoenix, AZ entered into life October 11, 1950 and entered into rest August 4, 2015. Lee achieved a long and accomplished career in the growth of this Valley. His family is proud of the legacy of his work that can be seen as they drive past his many construction projects. Perhaps his favorite and most memorable contribution to our landscape is as Project Manager of the 16-story high-rise located on the corner of Southern Ave. and Alma School Rd. in Mesa. He loved his family (especially his grandchildren) and, as a proud alum of the ASU chapter of Delta Sigma Phi, enjoyed the rivalry between Arizona State and the University of Arizona. Lee is survived by his parents, Geraldine and Heartsill Johnson; daughters, Stephanie Johnson and Abby Koon; sister, Sharon Tolmachoff; brothers, Dennis and Ronald Johnson; 2 grandchildren, 4 nieces and 2 nephews.

Services will be held August 29th at 1pm at West Resthaven Funeral Home and Cemetery 6450 West Northern Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301.
