Librada G. Yabut

In 1949, Librada married Florencio N. Yabut this union produced nine children, Amelia, Susan, Jeff, Rizaldy, Marilou, Marino, Jay, Margie, and Paul. They shared over 54 years of marriage prior to his passing on October 5, 2003.

She came to the United States in 1980 making her home in Yonkers, New York. Librada worked for St. John’s Hospital in Yonkers for over 10 years.

She is survived by eight children Amelia (Oscar) Baluyut, Susan (Angel) Jimenez, Jeff (Teresita) Yabut, Marilou (Rodel) Lubiano, Marino (Celerina) Yabut, Jay (Shiela) Yabut, Margie (Marvin) Lagazon & Paul (Jaysie) Yabut, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, a son Rizaldy Yabut, and six siblings Andres Guintu, Asias Guintu, Andang Guintu, Orang Guintu, Ernesto Guintu, and Endu Guintu, preceded Librada in death.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 8 AM-9 AM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale, Arizona. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 5614 W. Orangewood Avenue, Glendale, Arizona.
