Linda Rae Van Ginkel

Linda Van Ginkel, 76 of Phoenix, Arizona, passed away 12/07/2025

She was born in Bon Homme, South Dakota on 01/05/1949, and married Wesley Van Ginkel on 02/20/1970.

Linda had a career as a nurse for 25 years and worked for various hospitals and care facilities in California and Colorado.

She had a passion for her faith, nursing, gardening and flower arranging along with various craft hobbies, and reading.

Linda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Wesley in 2023.

She is survived by her children Carleen, Kurt and Trena, her grandchildren Kadyn, Trentin, Gavin and Finnian and her Brothers and Sisters Mark, Bruce, Jean and Kristy. We would especially like to extend a special thank you to her caretakers the past couple years at Paseo Highlands, Ryan, Joy and staff.

Thank you for making her end days the best they could be and giving her a wonderful and welcome place to call home.

A visitation will be held at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, located at 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, on December 19, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The funeral service will follow at the same venue on December 19, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

A committal service is scheduled at Southern Arizona Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, 1300 S Buffalo Soldier Trail, Sierra Vista, AZ 85635, on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
