
Lloyd Sullivan, 84 passed away peacefully in his home on Sunday, May 22, surrounded by his loving family. Lloyd was born on August 13, 1926 to Champ and Goldie Sullivan in Oklahoma City, OK and moved to Phoenix, AZ at the age of 2 weeks. He lived here his entire life from that point on. Lloyd served in the U. S. Army as a paratrooper during WWII. He was a machinist at the Arizona Box Company until the age of 82. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Lucille Sullivan, son David Sullivan (Jan); daughter, Bonnie sullivan (Chris Dorsh); son Jerry Griffin (Sharon). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Lloyd loved others unconditionally and was loved by countless friends and relatives. He will be greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday, May 28, 2011 at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Nothern Ave. Glendale, AZ. Visitation at 9:30 am, services starting at 10 am. He will be laid to rest at Resthaven Park Cemetery immediately after the services. Memorial contributions may be made to Serenity Hospice.
