

She was born on October 30, 1930, in Isabella Bank Belize, Central America.
Lucille is preceded by her husband, Francisco Vaquez; three children, Carmelita, Valencia, Francisco Jr.; granddaughter, Christine Mitchell; siblings, Theresa, Victoria, Marcellina, Elias, Herbert, Michael, Nathaniel, and John.
Left to cherish her memory are her five children, Maria Vasquez, Ben (Linda) Vasquez, Fran Mitchell, Sam Vasquez, Elizabeth (Warren) Kreiger; grandchildren, Eugene Vasquez, Craig Mitchell, Vania Vasquez, Zinah Vasquez, Dariah Vasquez; six grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
She spent her early years in the vibrant surroundings of her homeland, along with Rancho Dolores Village, where she cultivated her deep love for family and tradition.
Lucille was a woman of remarkable strength and resilience. A devout Catholic, she had a profound spiritual life finding solace in her faith.
She shared 70 years with her husband. They built a life filled with love, laughter, and family; creating countless memories that children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren will carry with them.
Lucille was a fighter, a very strong woman, whose selflessness, and love touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and whose lives she touched.
A visitation will be held at the Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, located at 7924 North 59th Ave, Glendale, AZ 85301, on November 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm.
A Funeral Mass is scheduled at St Helen Catholic Church, 5510 W Cholla St, Glendale, AZ 85304, on November 10, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The committal service will take place at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery and Funeral Home, 9925 W Thomas Rd, Avondale, AZ 85392, on November 10, 2025, from 11:45 am to 12:30 pm.
