Mary was born in Las Cruces, New Mexico. She was the daughter of Guadalupe and Carmen Garcia and joins them, along with her brother Guadalupe Jr., in heaven. Along with her husband, her brothers Alfredo, Daniel, and Raymond and their wives, survive her. Mary also will be dearly missed by her extensive list of nephews and nieces.
Mary lived a full professional and personal life. In addition to her commitment to her family and Christian faith, she enjoyed a 32-year career with the Arizona Department of Transportation, was an avid amateur storm chaser, and was a devoted fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks Major League Baseball team.
A casual gathering to celebrate our beloved Mary was held Saturday, May 20, 2017. Additional services in Las Cruces, New Mexico, and San Diego, California, will be scheduled at dates to be determined.
