Mary Felix Payan, a caring and helpful soul, passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on October 29, 1955, Mary was a native of Glendale, Arizona, where she spent her entire life. She was the beloved daughter of Secundino and Florencia Payan.
Mary is survived by her children, Erica, Esther, and Bobby, as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 brothers, 2 nephews, and her best friend of 62 years, Evie.
Mary had a zest for life that was evident in her many passions and interests. She was a workaholic who found joy in hitting the clearance racks and bargain shopping. Her love for her pets, Gordie and Lucy, was immense and unwavering.
Throughout her life, Mary touched many people and was known for her desire to serve others. She was dedicated to giving to charities and had a profound love for animals, always striving to save them.
Mary Felix Payan's legacy of kindness and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Monday, April 7, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.
