Born in Douglas, WY to Leonard and Maxine Spahn. Growing up, Mary and her family moved around. They settled in Phoenix, AZ when Mary was 16 years old. After graduating Thunderbird High school, she married and had two daughters, Heather Wahlers-Quintana and Katie Sanchez. Mary was a homemaker until her children both entered school. At that time, Mary began working for the Washington Elementary School District. She retired from the District in May of 2023. Mary was a wonderful mom, grandma and friend. Her contagious smile will be missed by so many.
Mary is survived by her daughters: Heather Wahlers-Quintana and Katie Sanchez, Son in Law: Jerry Quintana, Grandsons: Marcus Quintana, Adan Sanchez and Aron Sanchez, and Siblings: Lynn Zizza and Allen Spahn.
Mary's Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 10th at 3:00 PM, at CCV. 7007 West Happy Valley Road.
