

of Glendale, Arizona passed away on 24 October 2011. Born May 26, 1916 in Jetmore, Kansas, passed away October 24, 2011 in Glendale, Arizona, at the age of 95 years. She moved from Kansas to Arizona in 1929 with her family, where she met and married the love of her life, Ira Lavaun (Happy) Woolsey. Honorable in all of her actions she exemplified what a great wife and mother should be. Proverbs 31:10 "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies" describes her life. She set a high standard for her children, grandchildren and greats. She loved to dance, write poetry, sew, cook and bake. She is survived by her Son Richard Woolsey (Sue), of Yorktown, Virginia, Daughters Carolyn Gibbons of Show Low, AZ (Willis) and Gail Sharp of Glendale, AZ (Roger) and Son-in-law Ralph Cluff of Snowflake, AZ. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Hap, parents Robert E. Vesper and Alice Beulah Silicman, two sisters, Ruby Eason and Doris Williams, one brother, Frank Vesper, Alice Jayne Cluff, and grandchild Annette C. Gibbons. And stepsisters Barbara and Jane and brother Bill O'Connor. Viewing and Services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5250 W. Thunderbird, Glendale, AZ. From 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 28, 2011. Interment at 12:15 p.m. at Green Acres Cemetery, 401 N. Hayden, Scottsdale, AZ Arrangements by Green Acres Glendale Mortuary, 5830 W. Missouri Ave., Glendale, Arizona.
