Mike Acuna

Mike proudly served our country with the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

He married Margaret Cameron on February 21, 1998; they have shared over 26 years of marriage.

Mike was a lifelong member of the Local 383 Laborers Union. He loved the outdoors, where he would enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. The arrival of grandchildren brought out a new joy and nurturing side.

He is survived by his wife Peggy, two sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Jr & Karen Acuna and Samuel & Lisa Acuna, stepson and step daughter-in-law James & Angela Cameron, three granddaughters Jazzmyne Acuna, Marissa Acuna & Sabrina Acuna, step grandson Caleb Hartnedy, brother and sister-in-law John & Joan Acuna, sister Mary Helen Darr and many nieces & nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a granddaughter Sammantha Acuna and nine siblings.

Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 from 12-1PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale. Funeral services will begin at 1PM; burial with military honors will follow in Resthaven Park Cemetery, Glendale.
