Myrna Bearden was born in Bisbee Arizona. Myrna and her family lived in many small minning towns throughput out the United States. Myrna and her sister Karen had pet Gila Monsters and tarantulas for pets. Myrna lived for awhile in El Paso, Texas, Bisbee, Arizona, Chloride, Arizona, Basic, Nevada, Henderson, Nevada, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Vensanes Indiana, Myrna spent may fun filled summers in Jerome Arizona with her Aunt Ethel and Uncle Ott. Myrna's uncle taught her how to fish in the lakes surrounding Jerome. Arizona. Myrna graduated from Las Vegas High School in Las Vegas Nevada. Where ever Myrna were she made numerous friends who remained near and dear to her heart through out her life. Myrna went to University of Nevada Reno where she became a Tri Delta. Myrna obtained her teaching certificate from Pacific Union College in Angwin California. Member held numerous teaching positions during her career Myrna taught in Colorado, Nevada, and Arizona. Myrna taught in the Glendale Elementary Schoold Distirinct from 1978 until she retired in 1995. Myrna also taught part time after her retirement for Gary Tang Adult edcucation in Glendale Arizona, helping speakers of other languages be able to speak, read and write english better. Myrna loved teaching and truly felt that all of her "kids" were hers and she loved every minute of her teaching career.
Myrna was predeceased by her fahter Monte Ivy, her mother Mara Byers Ivy, her sister Karen, her sister Paula and her husband Bruce. Myrna is surrvived by her daughters April and Faith, son Ben, daughter in law Barbara, granddaughter Bailee, grandson Bradley, niece Geri, nephews Andy and Randy,her dogs Sammy and Happy and granddog Aurora and numerous cousins and friends that she called family who will greatly miss her friendly, positive christian attitude.
