Olivia G. Silva passed away peacefully on February 14, 2025, at the age of 94. She was born in Scottsdale, AZ and was raised in Phoenix. She is survived by her five children Paul Silva, Jr., Margarita Silva (Manuel), Yolanda Mead (Gary), David Silva and Joe Silva (Helena), her beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and four siblings Gilbert Garcia, Mary Garcia, Toni Bastian and Julia Ibarra.
Olivia started her caregiving career at Maricopa County Hospital and from there she went to work in the emergency room at Memorial Hospital. After several years she wanted to try something different and went to work at Motorola. After another few years Olivia decided she wanted to go back and be a caregiver. Eventually she ended up working as a CNA for the Foundation for Senior Living. Olivia worked there for 29 years before retiring.
Family and friends are invited to a memorial service celebrating her life on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at 5PM at West Resthaven Funeral Home, 6450 W. Northern Avenue, Glendale.
Olivia's family, especially her children, loved her and she will be greatly missed.
